TME (Temporomandibular Joint) diseases are disorders seen in joint functions as a result of intra- and extra-articular pathologies. Nowadays there is an increase in the patients who consult doctors with complaints of TME temporomandibular joint. This is because, except for anatomical disorders, we can say that patients are informed about an increase in everyday life stresses and temporomandibular joint disorders and become conscious of it. The most issue that patients face in this regard is not knowing which doctor to consult about this complaint. In the treatment of TME diseases, dentists play a big role. One of the treatment types that are commonly used for jaw and joint diseases is the articular disc (splint). - Some antidepressants cause jaw spasms as a side effect
